The combination of a refined sans serif typeface with a supporting serif typeface has been carried forward and has evolved to give flexibility to the new identity.
Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Paul Renner and released in 1927. It was designed as a contribution on the New Frankfurt-project. It is based on geometric shapes, especially the circle, similar in spirit to the Bauhaus design style of the period.
The Futura typeface is highly geometric — meaning that its elements are based on simple geometric shapes like circles, triangles, and rectangles. In other words, it features clean and precise proportions, rather than imitating organic script or handwriting. Futura is also an extremely symmetrical typeface.
